Cal U. online programs recognized
California University of Pennsylvania’s 100 percent online bachelor’s degree programs have been ranked No. 6 in the country by U.S. News & World Report.
Cal U. Global Online offers 10 bachelor-degree programs that can be completed entirely online. All courses are taught by Cal U. faculty and have the same content, objectives and learning outcomes as courses taught on campus. And Global Online students earn the same degrees as students who attend classes on campus.
Cal U.’s online degree programs are in demand, with more than 2,400 students earning associate, bachelor’s and master’s degrees and doctorates through Global Online.
Over 1,000 students were enrolled in Global Online bachelor’s degree programs in fall 2016, a 33 percent increase over the fall 2015 enrollment.
“Our online bachelor’s program in Arabic language and culture has grown dramatically,” said Stephanie Franks-Helwich, executive director of graduate admissions and Global Online.
Other fast-growing online programs at Cal U. include the bachelor of science in nursing, which allows registered nurses to earn their BSN in as little as three terms, and the bacheor of science in wellness and fitness, which prepares students for certified personal training certification from the National Academy of Sports Medicine.
