Approaching spring with fresh decor

This Citron Basil Soy Candle is from Anthropologie - probably my favorite candle store - and the four beautiful, ornate little glasses you see were a wedding gift from years ago. The Piggy ToesI am titling this post “Pre-Spring Dining Decor” because it’s a transitional look to rid my eyes of deep winter colors and bring in a more natural, lighter feel into my home. When the room was complete, I loved it so much that I think I may just keep it as-is all spring! Come in and take a look at where my “Piggy Toes” have been!
I wanted to give this room a more natural, casual and simple look. One of the things I love the most is that I shortened our table, something I don’t do often. Bringing the chairs closer together gives it a more intimate feel. Dressing the table with natural elements like wood, metals and textured linens gave this room a more casual look.
