Rudy, stop painting with a broad brush. All men do not “at times talk like that.” Undeniably, some do. But not all men. But even if we did, it wouldn’t be excusable. I have known this since I was old enough to understand what makes a man.

Yes, some men are guilty of extreme hyperbole when discussing sexual escapades. My questions to even those who do not exaggerate are: Why do you feel the need to discuss them at all? Why do you think that doing so makes you more of a man when, in fact, it diminishes you? Moreover, why do you not realize that, in doing so, you denigrate all women? I have known this since I was old enough to understand what makes a relationship.

As a teenager, I played in many a rock band with married men. Even then I was repulsed when some of them felt the need to regale us with tales of the great sex they had with their wives. After 50 years, I have the same question: How can you have respect for your wife if you detail your lovemaking with her? Why brag about sex with a woman who obviously has such low standards?

You are 72 years old, Rudy. Your buddy Donald was pushing 60 when he made the remarks that you each now say should be dismissed as “locker room talk.” No, Rudy. “Hand me a towel” is locker room talk. What your buddy said is an aging Lothario’s pathetic attempt to unfurl his flagging relevance.

And Rudy, you’re a little late jumping into the fray to condemn remarks that in some ways are the least troubling of those your pal has made since entering the presidential race.

You should have bolted from him on day one, when he issued a blanket condemnation of Mexicans, revealing his strategy to “Make America Great Again” requires he first make America worse.

You should have walked away from him when he began appealing to our baser instincts, promising to steer the ship of state back into the dark, murky, polluted waters of racism, xenophobia, religious intolerance, homophobia and isolationism, where everyone but a white Anglo-Saxon Protestant man is unworthy.

You want locker room talk? When I was in high school, a group of self-proclaimed jocks thought they had license to run around the showers after gym class, punching others in the testicles. Boys being boys, some said. Sound familiar?

You are a sycophant, Rudy. You live so deep in the gutter that you would have to jump up to commit suicide.

You are just like those clueless kids, Rudy.

You make me sick to my stomach.
