Hasson – Lapacik
Laura Lapacik and Robert Hasson were united in marriage October 27, 2012, in Holy Rosary Church, Muse, with the Rev. George Deville officiating the 1 p.m. ceremony. The bride’s parents are Joseph and Donna Lapacik of Canonsburg. Her grandparents are Eleanor Lapacik of Canonsburg, the late John Lapacik, the late Ernest and Veronica Spell and the late Ruth Spell.
The bridegroom’s parents are David and Lisa Hasson of Washington. His grandparents are Samuel and Patricia Osso of Washington, Robert and Janet Brown of McHenry, Md., and the late Robert Hasson.
The bride was given in marriage by her father.
Maid of honor for her sister was Lindsay Lapacik of Canonsburg. Matron of honor was Chelsea Geist of Canonsburg. Bridesmaids were Erin Beccari of Pittsburgh, Jasmine Blussick of Canonsburg, Kristen Hasson of Washington, sister of the groom; and Rachel Lapacik of McDonald, cousin of the bride. Hannah Munger of Cecil, cousin of the bride, was junior bridesmaid.
Flower girls were Rosemary Gilley and Madelyn Gilley, cousins of the groom.
Ring bearer was Ethan Hildebrand, nephew of the bride and groom.
Best man was James Hughes of Canonsburg, cousin of the groom. Ushers were Philip Westcott of Washington, Joseph Walker of Canonsburg, Clint Jenkins of Washington, Adam Denman of Washington, and John Lapacik III of Burgettstown, cousin of the bride.
Readers were Tyler Geist, Christie Agnew and David Barton. Vocalist was Ashley Farkas with Nicholas Will as organist.
A reception was held in The Fairview Sunset Room.
The new Mrs. Hasson is a 2003 graduate of Canon-McMillan High School and a 2008 graduate of California University of Pennsylvania. She is an account coordinator in business development at Blanc Printing Co.
Mr. Hasson is a 2006 graduate of Washington High School and is a driver for Waste Management.
The newlyweds took a honeymoon trip to Punta Cana, Dominican Republic.
