(PIX)Kayla Ferguson graduated from Slippery Rock University with a bachelor’s degree in health and physical education. Ferguson was a dean’s list student. She graduated in 2008 from Avella High School, and her parents are Larry and Patricia Ferguson of Avella. She is employed as a teacher in the Shaler Area School District.
