Dr. and Mrs. Edward Phillips Polack of Wheeling, W.Va., announce the engagement of their daughter, Julia E., to Brian E. Watson, son of Mr. and Mrs. Wayne E. Watson of Canonsburg.

Julia is a 2000 graduate of the Linsly School, a 2005 graduate of Ohio University with a bachelor’s degree in human and consumer sciences and a 2007 graduate of Ohio University with a master’s degree in human and consumer sciences. She is employed as an operations supervisor for LSG Sky Chefs in Coraopolis.

Brian is a 2001 graduate of Canon-McMillan High School and a 2006 graduate of Washington & Jefferson College with a bachelor’s degree in business/marketing. He is director of human resources for American Income Life in Wexford.

An August wedding is planned.
