Kristopher D. White of Pittsburgh, formerly of McDonald, has had his article, “Before the Slaughter – How the Confederate Delaying Action in the Streets of Fredericksburg Set the Stage for the Bloodbath to Follow,” in the winter 2012 edition of the Civil War Trust publication Hallowed Ground Magazine.

In addition, White and Chris Mackowski had their book, “Simply Murder: The Battle of Fredericksburg,” published in the new Emerging Civil War book series. The book is available online from Savas Beatie.

White, a 2005 graduate of California University of Pennsyvania, travels the country lecturing at Civil War roundtables.
