Hoy – Hill
Shera Hill and Tad Hoy were married September 29, 2012, in Spraggs Methodist Church with the Rev. Jay Tennies officiating the 2:30 p.m. ceremony.
The bride was given in marriage by her parents, Clarence and Shree Hill of Waynesburg. Her grandparents are Vaughn and Peggy Evans of Carmichaels and the late Clarence Hill Jr.
Parents of the bridegroom are Ted and Martha Hoy of Spraggs. His grandparents are Evelyn Wildman, the late James O. Wildman and the late C. Hamilton and Ruth Hoy.
Maid of honor was Nicole Nusida of Rices Landing. Bridesmaids were Megan Moore, cousin of the groom, Erica Chidester and Stacy Berdine. Flower girls were Morgan and Madison Whetzel, nieces of the groom.
Best man was Sheldon Raber of Fairmont, W.Va.
Ushers were Jason Dulaney, cousin of the groom, Troy Smith and Christopher Hill, brother of the bride.
A reception was held at the wedding site.
The new Mrs. Hoy is a 2001 graduate of Jefferson-Morgan High School and a graduate of Westmoreland County Community College nursing program. She is a registered nurse at Southwest Regional Medical Center.
Mr. Hoy is a 1993 graduate of Waynesburg Central High School and a 1998 graduate of California University of Pennsylvania. He is a land management supervisor for the Pennsylvania State Game Commission.
