Gertrude Wiltz of Venetia celebrated her 100th birthday with a luncheon for family and friends Oct. 13 at the Hills-Hendersonville Civic Association banquet hall. She was born October 14, 1912, in Manifold. On February 12, 1934, she married Armilde Wiltz, who is deceased. She has a daughter, Marian Selva of Venetia. Her grandchildren are Wendy Marnik and Debbie Patnesky. She has five great-grandchildren. Mrs. Wiltz retired from Mayview State Hospital after 27 years of service and enjoys cooking, cleaning, helping others and playing games on ipad-TV.
