The Rev. John Derrico will be guest speaker when Mary and Martha Joy Fellowship of Monongahela meets Thursday at First Presbyterian Church, Sixth and Main streets, Monongahela. Harmon Creek Community Church, 1080 Steubenville Pike, Burgettstown, will hold its second annual Trunk-or-Treat at 5:30 p.m. Sunday. There will be trick-or-treating, prizes for best decorated trunk or pickup bed for adults and best costumes for children. Cookies, punch and hot cocoa will be served. Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, 525 Fairway Drive, Washington, will host a fireside chat at 6 p.m. Saturday. Author Kenneth E. Britten will discuss edible wild plants, food storage and emergency preparedness. The event is sponsored by Washington Ward High Priest Group.
