Courtney Baker graduated from Duquesne University with a bachelor of science degree in organizational leadership. She was a member of Alpha Sigma Lambda Honor Society. Baker has accepted a position as the treatment and marketing coordinator for Dr. Pamela Johnson in her office in Willowbrook, Ill. Baker is a 2002 graduate of Ringgold High School, and her parents are Clifford and Susanne Baker of South Park.
Jaret Romano, son of Jay and Cathy Romano of McDonald, has graduated summa cum laude from George Mason University, where he majored in conflict resolution and analysis and economics. He was a member of Phi Beta Kappa, Lambda Sigma Honor Society, Lambda Delta Honor Society, the National Society of Collegiate Scholars, the CAR community organization and Music Productions Group. Romano also was a class representative for his major and was awarded the GMU Foundation Scholarship and the Provost Achievement Award. Romano is a 2009 graduate of Canon-McMillan High School and is employed by the university as an operations manager for the Student Centers. He will attend graduate school at George Mason to pursue a doctorate in economics and will work as a teaching assistant.
