Candy DeBerry, Ph.D., an associate professor at Washington & Jefferson College, will be presenting “Native Plants and Creative Habitat for Wildlife” at 10 a.m. Sept. 14 at Washington County Community Center in Canonsburg.

DeBerry is passionate about ecological gardening for biodiversity and regularly speaks to community organizations about native plants, environmentally friendly gardening and creating habitats for wildlife.

Cost is $5. Registration is required; call Washington County Extension at 724-228-6881.
