Volunteers sought for breast cancer walk

The American Cancer Society is looking for volunteers to help its Making Strides Against Breast Cancer walk.
The walk will be held Oct. 12 at the North Shore Riverfront Park Great Lawn. The 5K noncompetitive walk raises money for breast cancer research, education, advocacy and patient services in the community.
In 2012, about 10,500 cases of breast cancer were diagnosed in Pennsylvania.
