Big Brothers recognizes volunteers

Big Brothers Big Sisters of Greater Pittsburgh recently recognized its Celebrate Coalitions winners at the James Street Speakeasy in the East Allegheny neighborhood of Pittsburgh. Celebrate Coalitions honors individuals who have displayed tremendous efforts for the agency.
Among those honored were:
• Heidi Nevala of Mt. Lebanon, a member of the Washington County advisory committee. She was named Board Member of the Year. Nevala has been active with the BBBS Washington County advisory committee for 2 1/2 years.
• Washington & Jefferson College, BIG Community Partners of the Year.
