Fourteen students from Waynesburg University recently spent six days in Highland Park, N.J., working on various service projects, including cleanup and rebuilding efforts for victims of Hurricane Sandy.

Among area students who participated were Cody Hillbery of Sycamore, a junior sociology major; Samantha Maize of Finleyville, a senior nursing major; and Brittany Nimal of Hickory, a senior forensic accounting major.
