Patricia Gregg and James Schoening were married Saturday, September 22, 2012, at Millcreek American Legion in Erie, with the Rev. Daniel Owen officiating the ceremony.

The bride is the daughter of the late Richard and Virginia Bingaman. The bridegroom is the son of Pauline Schoening of Erie and the late James Schoening.

The bride was given in marriage by her brother, Wayne Bingaman of Virginia Beach, Va.

Debbie Czernecki of Canonsburg served as her mother’s maid of honor. Bridesmaid was Nancy Klimek of Fairview. Flower girl was Madalyn Wagner, granddaughter of the groom.

Best man was Tim Good.

A reception was held at the wedding site. Ron Howard of “Crusin” served as the karaoke disc jockey. The couple met singing karaoke.

The new Mrs. Schoening, formerly of Washington, graduated from Bethel Park High School and volunteered for the Washington Area Humane Society for 32 years.

Mr. Schoening graduated from Tech Memorial High School in Erie and served four years in the U.S. Navy. He is retired from General Electric in Erie.

The newlyweds make their home in Millcreek.
