The Myasthenia Gravis Association of Western Pennsylvania at Allegheny General Hospital will hold its 19th annual Sports Memorabilia Auction from 3 to 7 p.m. April 6 at The Club at Nevillewood in Collier Township.

TV/radio personality Ellis Cannon will serve as host, and John Phillips from the Fan sports talk radio will serve as auctioneer. Pittsburgh Pirates alumni Steve Blass, former Steeler Marv Kellum and lightweight boxing champ Rod Salka will be among the sports celebrities who will sign free autographs. There also will be sports grab bags, a buffet, cash bar, basket raffle and live and silent auctions of signed sports memorabilia. About 100 autographed items will be available for bidding and include Maurkice Pouncey, Antonio Brown, James Neal and Starling Marte.

All proceeds will benefit the Myasthenia Gravis Association of Western Pennsylvania, which provides medical care, educational resources and support services to those with myasthenia gravis, an autoimmune disorder of muscle weakness with no known cause or cure.

Admission is $30 per person and includes dinner and parking. Reservations are recommended by calling 412-566-1545.
