KidneySmart classes will be held from 2 to 4 p.m. the first Tuesday of each month, March through August, at the Wilfred P. Cameron Wellness Center, Conference Room B, 240 Wellness Way, Washington.

The free, community-based education program will explain kidneys function, how to recognize early signs of kidney disease, ways to better manage diet and health and treatment options for those who are diagnosed with chronic kidney disease.
