Winter owl prowl will be held at 7 p.m. Friday at Mingo Creek County Park. The group will gather in the parking area at the intersection of Mingo Creek and Parkview roads. Reservations are required; call Washington County Department of Parks and Recreation at 724-228-6867.

Washington County Department of Parks and Recreation is looking for volunteers to help reconstruct part of the Hemlock Trail in Mingo Creek County Park. Volunteers will meet at 11 a.m. Feb. 9 at the Hemlock Trail parking area. There are a limited number of tools to use and volunteers are welcome to bring along any tools for trimming trees and clearing the trail. Registration is required; call 724-228-6867.
