Beth Israel congregation is taking orders for hamentaschen.

Cost is $9 per dozen. Apricot, chocolate, poppy seed, cherry, lemon, prune or assorted are available. Deadline to order is Feb. 1. Mail checks to: Beth Israel Congregation, 265 North Ave., Washington, PA 15301.

Orders can be picked up from noon to 1:30 p.m. Feb. 17.

Volunteers also are needed to make the hamentaschen dough. To volunteer or for more information, call the office at 724-225-7080 or Richard Littman at 412-519-9499.
