Cremation & Funeral Care, 3287 Washington Road, McMurray, will hold a flagpole dedication in celebration of veterans from 6 to 9 p.m. Wednesday.

A cookout will be held at 6 p.m. and the dedication ceremony is at 7 p.m. Gen. John Abizaid will be the featured speaker. Washington County Commissioner Diana Irey Vaughan and T.J. McGarvey also will speak. Distinguished guests Barry Bioni, Bill Babcock, Keith Meier, Ronald M. Hastdalen and Mary Fadgen will be recognized.
