Washington Symphony Orchestra has received a $7,000 grant from the Heinz Endowments’ Small Arts Initiative to assist with the production of its Oct. 12 concert, “Space – the Final Frontier.” Grants from the Heinz Endowments’ Small Arts Initiative are designed to further the development of small, professional arts’ organizations by providing support for specific projects or other artistic opportunities.
