Whipkey – Blyth
Amy Mara Blyth and David Andrew Whipkey were married August 9, 2012, in Washington, with the Rev. William P. Feeney officiating.
The bride’s parents are James R. Blyth of Washington and the late Frances T. Blyth.
The groom’s parents are Robert D. and Mary M. Whipkey of Apollo.
The bride was given in marriage by her father.
Maid of honor was Elena Marie Blyth, and best man was Richard Conti.
A vow renewal Mass was held October 12, 2012, at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, and was followed by a cocktail hour and dinner/dance reception at the George Washington Hotel.
Bridesmaids were Jessica Barszczowski Ganni, Dawn Papuga, Megan Carrick Hogle and Victoria Vasilko, cousin of the groom.
Groomsmen were Michael Friedrich, Jack Bunja, Josh Yohe and Brian Pingree.
The bride graduated from Waynesburg University. She has a bachelor’s degree in communication and a master’s degree in business administration. She is employed by Crown Castle as an account analyst.
The groom graduated from Edinboro University. He has a bachelor’s degree in speech pathology and a master’s degree in speech communication. He is employed by Crown Castle as a licensing specialist.
The couple honeymooned in Jamaica and make their home in North Strabane Township.
