Cody R. Adams was named to the dean’s list at Waynesburg University, where he is pursuing a bachelor’s degree in nursing. His parents are Sherry Adams of Avella and the late Ray Adams. He is a 2012 graduate of Avella High School.
John Allison was named to the dean’s list at Waynesburg University, where he is majoring in biology/pre-medical. He is a member of the cross country and track teams. Allison is a 2011 Fort Cherry High School graduate, and his parents are Tim and Colleen Allison of Hickory.
Morgan Blumer, daughter of Nicklous and Mary Rossi Blumer of Washington, was named to the dean’s list at Waynesburg University, where she is majoring in criminal justice administration. She is a member of the Criminal Justice Club and is an intern with the Washington City Police Department. Blumer is a 2010 graduate of Trinity High School and is employed at the Washington County booking center.
Lauren Cowden was named to the dean’s list at Waynesburg University, where she is majoring in early childhood/special education. Cowden is a 2011 graduate of Fort Cherry High School and is employed by JC Penney. Her parents are Bruce and Gayla Cowden of McDonald.
Michael Cutlip was named to the dean’s list at Waynesburg University. He is a 2010 graduate of Avella High School, and his parents are Patty Cutlip of Avella and William Cutlip.
Mollie Dusbiber was named to the dean’s list at West Virginia University, where she is majoring in animal sciences. She is a 2011 graduate of McGuffey High School, and her parents are Douglas Dusbiber and Crystal Brown, both of Washington.
Carson J. Fox of Canonsburg was named to the dean’s list at Waynesburg University, where he is a freshman pursuing a bachelor’s degree in communication/sports broadcasting/information. He is a graduate of Canon-McMillan High School.
Venus Hanlin of Waynesburg graduated summa cum laude from Duquesne University with a master’s of business administration degree in human resources and accounting. She is a 1988 Waynesburg Central High School graduate and is employed by Pennsylvania Energy Service Co. Her parents are Gertrude and Virgil Tenney Sr.
Kory Kozlowski was named to the dean’s list for the third consecutive semester at Robert Morris University, where he is majoring in computer information systems. He is a member of the honors program and the student information technology advisory committee. Kozlowski is a 2011 graduate of Trinity High School and is employed at Target. His parents are Kevin and Victoria Kozlowski of Washington.
Brian Kriston, son of Mark and Marian Kriston of McMurray, was named to the dean’s list at the University of Pittsburgh, Johnstown, where he is majoring in human resource management. He is a 2009 Peters Township High School graduate and is employed by Caterpillar Global Mining during the summer.
Austin Phillips of Washington was named to the dean’s list at Waynesburg University, where he is majoring in exercise science. He graduated from Washington High School in 2011, and his parents are Kirk and Amy Phillips.
Melissa Poach, daughter of Mark and Marty Poach of Washington, was named to the dean’s list at Waynesburg University, where she is majoring in early childhood education. She is a member of the track team. Poach is a 2010 graduate of Trinity High School and is employed by American Eagle at Tanger Outlets.
Kristly Pollana was named to the dean’s list at Waynesburg University, where she is majoring in psychology. Pollana is a 2010 graduate of Trinity High School and is employed by Red Lobster. Her parents are John and Christy Pollana of Washington.
Dominic Raggi was named to the dean’s list at Allegheny College, where he is majoring in chemistry. Raggi was a 2011-12 Alden Scholar, an award given in honor of Timothy Alden, founder of the college. Raggi is a 2011 Trinity High School graduate, and his parents are Eugene and Mary Beth Raggi of Washington.
Jordan Roberts, son of Steve and Tammie Roberts of Washington, was named to the dean’s list at West Virginia University, where he is majoring in industrial engineering. Roberts is a member of the Institute of Industrial Engineers, Alpha Lambda Delta National Honor Society and Engineers Without Borders. He works in the research department at the Industrial Assessment Center and has accepted an internship in lean manufacturing at GE Power Distribution, Clearwater, Fla. Raggi is a 2011 Trinity High School graduate.
