Cameron Strom, 8, son of Wendi Sismondo of Washington, helped raise $1,335 for a former fellow karate student at Shrader’s Mixed Martial Arts in Washington.

Instead of birthday presents, Cameron asked family and friends to donate money to the family of Aidan Knox to help with medical expenses.
