Clipper – 90 years
Mark Clipper of Carmichaels celebrated his 90th birthday with a dinner at the Golden Corral, hosted by his daughter, Sherre M. Weeks, and her husband, Marsh.
Mr. Clipper was born February 19, 1923, in Ontario, Canada.
On December 26, 1942, in Ashland, Ky., he married his wife of 70 years, Genevieve.
His six children are Mark Wayne (Nancy), Kerry Alan (Christine), Gerald Lee (Barbara), Deborah Sue, Sherre Marlene (Marsh) and Trina Marlene (Leslie). He also has 12 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. Mr. Clipper retired from Gross Furniture Co. in Fredericktown, where he worked as a furniture salesman and interior decorator for 36 years. He enjoyed golfing.
