Affordable care topic of discussion

The League of Women Voters of Washington County, Peters Township Chamber of Commerce and Peters Township Public Library will hold “The Affordable Care Act at a Glance” from 10 a.m. to noon April 20 at the library.
A panel will discuss basic information about the laws that will take effect in 2014 and explain how individuals, families and small businesses will be able to obtain health insurance.
Panelists will include:
• Jerry M. Bonenberger, senior account executive at BABB Inc.;
• Patricia Raffaele, vice president, advocacy and communications at Hospital Council of Western Pennsylvania;
• State Sen. Matt Smith, D-37th District.
