Snyder – Carnahan
Linngrow Farms in Leechburg was the site for the wedding of Rachel N. Carnahan and Eric Snyder, who were married August 25, 2012, with Pastor Dave Anderson officiating the 3 p.m. ceremony.
Jeff and Kim Carnahan of Houston are the parents of the bride. Her grandparents are Pat Zorzi of Canonsburg and the late Chuck and Margaret Carnahan.
Parents of the bridegroom are Dave and Deb Puzak of Mt. Pleasant. His grandparents are Jane Synder of Mt. Pleasant, the late Charles Snyder and Helen Puzak of Mt. Pleasant.
The bride was given in marriage by her father.
Matron of honor for her sister was Kristen Carnahan-Collier of W.Va. Bridesmaids were Melissa Maggi and Tara Maggi, cousins of the bride.
Best man was Anthony Rubino of Mt. Lebanon. Groomsmen were Vance Rumbaugh of Mt. Pleasant, and Benjamin Collier of W.Va.
Reader was Jenna Snyder, sister of the groom.
A reception was held at the wedding site.
The new Mrs. Snyder is a 2004 graduate of Canon-McMillan High School, a 2008 graduate of California University of Pennsylvania and also a graduate of Utah State University, earning a master’s degree. She is employed as assistant director of dean’s at University of Kentucky.
Mr. Snyder is a 2004 graduate of Mt. Pleasant High School, a 2008 graduate of California University of Pennsylvania, a 2009 graduate of Utah State University, earning a master’s degree and a 2013 graduate of University of Kentucky with a Ph.D. in education policy evaluation.
Both have accepted positions with the University of Oklahoma.
The newlyweds will take a honeymoon trip to Jamaica and will make their home in Norman, Okla.
