YMCA fitness classes for kids

The Mon Valley YMCA is holding fitness classes for 5- to 14-year-olds as follows:

• Boot Camp for Kids, Wednesdays through June 18. Five- to 8-year-olds meet from 5:45 to 6:25 p.m.; 8- to 13-year-olds meet from 6:30 to 7:10 p.m. The class uses drills and games to keep kids active and improve strength, endurance and flexibility.

• Outdoor Extreme, for 10- to 14-year-olds, Tuesday from 6 to 7 p.m.

The programs are free to Mon Valley YMCA members. Nonmembers can join the programs for a nominal fee.
