The Family Literacy and Children’s departments at Bowlby Public Library will present a three-part series in June for young children and their families on personal and home safety.

Sessions will be held from 10 a.m. to noon Saturdays as follows:

• “Keep Me Safe from Fire,” June 1. Center Township Fire Department will teach families about fire safety and bring “Sparky.” The Waynesburg Franklin Township Volunteer Fire Department will give a tour of a fire engine.

• “Keep Me Healthy,” June 8. Infant, child and adult CPR certification will be offered by the Greene County Memorial Hospital Foundation. A physician will speak about staying healthy, and EMS Southwest will give an ambulance tour.

• “Keep Me Protected,” June 15. Waynesburg police officer Brian Tennant and his K-9 partner, Dagen, a 2-year-old German shepherd, will visit the library. A representative from the local FBI also will offer tips for keeping children safe and provide free fingerprinting for children.

Registration is required by calling the library at 724-627-9776.
