Dennis and Linda Alexy of Chartiers Township announce the engagement of their daughter, Brandy Shaine, to Jimmy DiBernardo, son of Jayme (Kass) and Ralph Lee Totty of Belle Vernon and Matthew DiBernardo of Akron, Ohio.

Grandparents of the future bride are the late Charles and Clara Alexy and the late John and Audrey Barringer.

The future groom’s grandparents are Janice Kass of Espyville and the late James Kass.

Brandy is a graduate of Chartiers-Houston High School and Slippery Rock University. She is employed as an invoicing systems manager at Adagio Health in Pittsburgh.

Jimmy is a graduate of South Park High School and Greater Pennsylvania Carpenters Joint Apprenticeship and Trading Program of Pittsburgh. He is a union carpenter and owner of Steel City Man Caves LLC.

A 2014 wedding is being planned.
