Calvary Temple Church in Washington welcomed its new pastor, Robert H. Englert Jr., Sunday. He was ordained and installed by elders of the church JoAnn Glunt, Shirley Hildebrand and Nelson Maglione.

Englert began preaching last year at the request of former pastor David Harner. Englert was elected pastor in November. He succeeds Harner, who died Sept. 2.

Englert resides in Sycamore with his wife, Lisa, and two daughters, Abigail and Zoey.
