Bill and Meo McIntyre of Washington announce the engagement of their daughter, Michelle, to David Hickman, son of Bill and Linda Hickman of McDonough, Ga.
Michelle’s grandparents are Bill and Maryann McIntyre of Uniontown, Mildred Ostop of Avella and the late Anthony Ostop.
Bill and Lorraine Hickman of Canonsburg, Arthur Norris of Washington and the late Patty Norris are David’s grandparents
The bride-to-be is a 2006 graduate of Chartiers-Houston High School and a 2012 graduate of Duquesne University, where she earned her doctorate in pharmacy. She is a clinical pharmacist at Vidant Medical Center in Greenvillle, N.C.
Her fiance is a 2007 graduate Henry County High School of McDonough and a 2010 graduate of Georgia Tech of Atlanta, where he earned a bachelor of science degree in mechanical engineering. He is a design engineer at J.H. Fletcher & Co. in Huntington, W.Va.
The couple plan an Oct. 3, 2015, wedding.
