Energy audits will be discussed at 7 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 16, at Peters Township Public Library.

Richard Rothaar of Conservation Consultants Inc. will discuss “Energy Audits: The path to a Safe, Healthy and Comfortable Home.” Rothaar will share some of the common health and safety problems found in homes and explain the benefits of receiving a home energy and safety audit. Those who attend will receive a $25 discount on an Energy Star audit and a CFL light bulb. CCI is a nonprofit organization that promotes responsible energy and resource use in homes and buildings.

The program is sponsored by the library’s GO Green Club. Registration is required by emailing programs@ptlibrary.org or calling 724-941-9430.
