Tharp – Wilber
Cheryl Wilber of Ellsworth and Edwin Wilber Jr. of Virginia announce the engagement of their daughter, Sarah, to Brian Tharp, son of James and Diane Tharp of Marianna.
Sarah’s grandparents are Emilie Sears of Fayetteville, W.Va., the late Edwin Wilber Sr. and the late Charles and Regina Damanaskas.
Brian’s grandparents are Agnes Brown of McDonald, the late Wilfred Brown and the late Robert and Pearl Tharp.
The bride-to-be is a 2003 graduate of Bentworth High School and a 2009 graduate of Waynesburg University. She is an early intervention service coordinator at Washington Communities Human Services.
The future groom is a 1996 graduate of Beth Center High School and is a welder at GE Hitachi Nuclear.
The couple plan a June 2014 wedding.
