Sigma Kappa Sorority and other student organizations at California University of Pennsylvania will hold a Halloween-themed “Mini-THON” from 8 p.m. Friday to 8 a.m. Saturday.

The event will benefit the Four Diamonds Fund at Penn State Hershey Children’s Hospital and pediatric cancer research at Penn State College of Medicine. The Mini-THON is based on Penn State’s THON, the largest student-run philanthropy in the nation where dancers spend 46 hours on their feet to raise money for pediatric cancer patients.

This is the first year Cal U. is holding an event for the Four Diamonds Fund. There will be games, activities and costume contests, along with bands and DJs to keep the dancers awake and motivate them.

For more information about the Four Diamonds Fund, call 717-531-6086.
