Pilot to speat at Shabbat service

Bob Tully will be guest speaker at Beth Israel congregation’s Shabbat service at 7:30 p.m. Nov. 8.

Tully will give a PowerPoint presentation on the “State of Judaism in Germany Today” as seen through his travels to that country. Tully, the husband of Beth Israel board of directors member Beth Tully, is a pilot for USAirways.

The synagogue is located at 265 North Ave., Washington.
