Free flu vaccines available to miners

UMWA Health and Retirement Funds and Lungs at Work will be offering free flu vaccines to all coal miners and their spouses from 2 to 3 p.m. Sept. 24 at McDonald Library, 52 Fourth St., and from 10 to 11 a.m. Sept. 26 at UMWA Health & Retirement Funds office, 470 Johnson Road, Suite 20, Washington.

Those who are unable to attend any of the clinics, but are interested in obtaining a flu shot, should call Mary Ann Parente at 724-229-5403.
