Tonti – Diesel
Devon Diesel and Zachary Tonti were united in marriage June 28, 2014, at Our Lady of the Miraculous Medal Church, with Carmen D’Amico officiating the 3 p.m. ceremony.
The bride’s parents are Rich and Marci Diesel of Washington. Her grandparents are Richard and Joann Diesel of Washington, Anne Richard of Canonsburg and the late Theodore Richard.
Parents of the bridegroom are Fred and Marsha Tonti of Canonsburg. His grandparents are Louise Tonti of Canonsburg, the late Albert Tonti and the late Geraldine Statler.
The bride was given in marriage by her father.
Matron of honor for her sister was Kelsey Cleveland of Waynesburg, and maid of honor for her sister was Jordan Diesel of Washington. Bridesmaids were Leah Meyer of Odenton, Md.; Dana Russell of Canonsburg; and Shelby Tonti of Robinson, sister of the groom.
Best man was Joe Nakoneczny of Strabane. Ushers were Jon Pleskovich of Canonsburg; Matt Luba of Canonsburg; Patrick Cleveland of Waynesburg, brother-in-law of the bride; and Shawn Diesel of Big Sky, Mont., brother of the bride.
Readers were Shelby Tonti, Melanie Holtz, Teresa Pielet and Patrick Cleveland.
The bride is a 2001 graduate of Chartiers-Houston High School and a 2005 graduate of Indiana University of Pennsylvania. She is a special education teacher in the Washington School District.
Mr. Tonti is a 2003 graduate of Canon-McMillan High School and a 2005 graduate of Penn Commercial. He is a heating, ventilation and air-conditioner installer with Diesel’s Heating and Air.
A reception was held at Washington County Fairgrounds.
The couple honeymooned in Aruba. They reside in Houston.
