Mt. Calvary Lutheran Church of Scenery Hill will hold its annual clothing giveaway from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Friday and Saturday and Aug. 15 and 16 at the church.

Amwell Township Historical Society will meet at 7 p.m. Monday in the Amwell Township Community Building. Jim Weinschenker will present a program on the history of the Pennsylvania railroad.

Washington Corps of the Salvation Army, 60 E. Maiden St., will hold its monthly rummage sale Tuesday. Doors will open at 9 a.m., and the bag sale will begin at noon.

Trinity Hillers 2014 season football tickets will be sold from 10 a.m. to noon Aug. 18 in the high school’s main office. Cost is $20 and includes four home games. Games start at 7:30 p.m. Check or money order are the only acceptable payments.

California University of Pennsylvania professor Dr. Chad Hanna will lead a search for arachnids Aug. 19 at Mingo Creek County Park. The group will meet at 6:30 p.m. at shelter 6. There is no fee, but registration is required by calling the Washington County Department of Parks and Recreation at 724-228-6867. Dress for the weather and light hiking.

Presbyterian SeniorCare will sponsor an AARP driver safety refresher course from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Aug. 25 for those who have taken a prerequisite class within the last three years. Lunch will be provided. Cost is $20 for non-AARP members and $15 for members. Those who are claiming the discount should bring a copy of their certificate and AARP card.
