Full Gospel Church will host the Dawg Dayz of Summer Celebration from 9 to 11:30 a.m. Saturday at the intersection of Fifth and Green streets in California. There will be free popcorn, lemonade, cookies and other refreshments. There also will be a sidewalk sale and puppet shows.

Bridgeville American Legion Post 54 will host a craft show from 1 to 4 p.m. Saturday. There will be crafters, vendors, Chinese auction and light lunches.

Pressley Ridge will host its annual ice cream fundae at 6:30 p.m. Sunday at Pittsburgh Zoo and PPG Aquarium. With this year’s platinum anniversary, Pressley Ridge hopes to break last year’s record of more than 350 gallons of ice cream consumed. Thomas Presbyterian Church, 1068 Linden Road, Eighty Four, will hold a car cruise pig roast and corn boil from 1 to 6 p.m. Aug. 23. There will be food and entertainment, featuring the magic and illusion of Dalton Lee, and a Chinese auction. Food tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for children 4 to 10. Children 3 and younger are free. Proceeds benefit Domestic Violence Services.
