Greensboro to host Art Blast on Mon

The Nathanael Greene Community Development Corp. will hold its ninth annual Art Blast on the Mon from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Aug. 30 in Greensboro.
Regional artists are invited to enter their artwork in either the EveryOne’s ART Show or EveryKid’s Too.
Winners in the EveryOne’s show will receive $300 for first place, $200 for second and $100 for third; in the EveryKid show, elementary and middle school winners will receive $25, and the high school winner will receive $50.
Original two- and three-diminesional artwork will be accepted. Works submitted in previous shows are ineligible, and reproductions or artwork from kits will not be accepted.
Each participant can submit up to three pieces. Entry fee is $5 per piece. All two-dimensional artwork must be framed and/or matted with stiff backing. Only artwork wired for hanging will be hung on walls, space permitting.
