Bradford House plans wine tasting

The Bradford House Museum, in partnership with the Washington Winery and Chicco Baccello, will hold its first wine tasting from 5 to 7 p.m. Sept. 26 at the museum, 175 S. Main St., Washington.

Local author A. Parker Burroughs will sign his new book, “Washington County Murder & Mayhem,” and violinist Anthony D’Orazio will perform 18th-century music. All proceeds benefit the Bradford House Museum. Guests must be 21 years old to attend.

Tickets are $25 per person if purchased in advance or $30 at the door. Register at the Washington Winery, 415 S. Main St., or mail payment with name, email address and telephone number to Bradford House Historical Association, P.O. Box 537, Washington, PA 15301. Ticket includes wine sampling, 18th-century appetizers, a house tour and a glass of wine.
