Malone–Matchett
Announcement is made of the engagement of Amy Jane Matchett of Bulger and Ryan Malone of Moon Township.
Amy’s parents are Dave and Jane Matchett of Bulger. Ryan’s parents are Frank Malone of Aliquippa and the late Barbara Malone.
Her grandparents are Joe and Ann Wasek and the late Neal and Sophie Matchett. Her fiance’s grandparents are Frank and Marge Malone and Francis Murrman and the late Ray Murrman.
The bride-to-be is a 2008 graduate of Burgettstown High School and a 2012 graduate of Thiel College, Greenville, where she earned a bachelor of arts degree in English literature and psychology. She is an eCommerce content coordinator for Dick’s Sporting Goods.
The future groom is a 2002 graduate of Moon Area High School; a 2004 graduate of Community College of Beaver County, where he earned an associate of applied science degree in professional piloting; and a 2009 graduate of West Virginia University, Morgantown, where he earned bachelor of science degree in aerospace engineering. He is an engineer at American Airlines.
The couple enjoys hunting and fishing together, and plans to reside in Moon Township.
A wedding is being planned for September.
