Myers–Bitz
Announcement is made of the engagement of Stephanie Bitz and Mason Myers, both of Washington.
Stephanie’s parents are James Bitz of Houston and the late Bonnie Bitz. Mason’s parents are James and Patty Myers of Washington.
Her grandparents are the late Betty McCarrell and the late Basil McCracken. Her fiance’s grandparents are Joe and Melba Lough of Fairmont, W.Va.
The bride-to-be is a 2000 graduate of McGuffey High School; a 2004 graduate of Susquehanna University, Selinsgrove, where she earned a bachelor of arts degree in public relations; and a 2007 graduate of the University of Pittsburgh, where she earned a master of arts degree in teaching. She is a fourth-grade teacher in Canon-McMillan School District.
The future groom is a 2005 graduate of McGuffey High School. He is employed at Comtech Industries, Canonsburg.
The couple plan a October 2, 2015, destination wedding in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic.
