A community dinner will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday at Liberty United Methodist Church, 1330 Banetown Road, Washington. Dinner includes chicken and biscuit, mashed potatoes, green beans, cole slaw or fruit, dessert and beverage. A free-will offering will be accepted. Proceeds benefit Greater Washington County Food Bank. Carryout is available. For more information, call 724-222-7180.

Canton Township will hold a senior Valentine bingo from noon to 3 p.m. Feb. 11 at the park and recreation building, 2684 Jefferson Ave. Washington. For reservations, call 724-225-8990. Participants must residents of Canton and 55 or older. The event is limited to 60 participants.

The Mon Valley Regional Chamber of Commerce will hold a luncheon meeting Feb. 11 at the Charleroi Elks Club, 301 Fallowfield Ave. Registration begins at 11:45 a.m. and the program will conclude at 1 p.m. Washington County commissioners will participate in a discussion. Needle and yarn craft workshop will be held at 10 a.m. Feb. 12 at Citizens Library, South College Street, Washington. The project is an easy no-sew fleece poncho. A demonstration will take place. For a supply list or to make reservations, call Washington County Parks & Recreation at 724-228-6867.

The annual Washington County in Florida reunion will be held Feb. 13 in the Manatee Room at Homers Original Smorgasbord in Plaza Square, Sebring, Fla. Tricky tracks, a homeschool outdoor classroom, for children ages 5 to 11, will be held Feb. 13 at Mingo Creek County Park, park office. Sessions begin at 10 a.m. and 1 p.m. Dress for the weather. Reservations are required; call 724-228-6867. Fee is $1.

Valentine candlelight night hike is 6:30 p.m. Feb. 13 at Mingo Creek County Park, Shelter 4. Luminaries will light up the paved walking trail for this outdoor program. The hike will conclude with a warm campfire and a cup of hot cocoa. Bring a flashlight and dress for the weather. Reservations are required; call 724-228-6867. There is no fee.
