Garfield’s Restaurant & Pub in Washington will hold a night of fun Feb. 20 to help raise money for Lauren, who has been a dedicated bartender at the restaurant for eight years. She recently was diagnosed with breast cancer. For more information, call 724-223-9480.

Go Red Washington County will be held from 4 to 8 p.m. Feb. 20 in the Education Conference Center at Monongahela Valley Hospital. The program will include a healthy cooking demonstration and samples; stress management techniques to help the heart, including a gentle yoga demonstration; and an “Innovations in Medicine” talk on heart health by an MVH physician. Barbecue by Fourth Street Barbeque will be held from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Feb. 21 in the main lobby at Monongahela Valley Hospital. The event is sponsored by the Auxiliary of Mon-Vale Health Resources Inc., and proceeds will be used to enhance services at the hospital. Free parking will be available with purchase.
