Shannon Falleroni, daughter of Danny and Carolyn Falleroni of Washington, was named to the dean’s list for the seventh consecutive semester at Waynesburg University, where she is majoring in early childhood education with special education. She is a member of DRUS, a women’s honor society, and fundraising representative for Kappa Delta Pi Educational Honor Society. She is a 2010 graduate of Trinity High School and is employed by Payless Shoe Store.
Matthew Ryan Relich was awarded his doctorate in physics and astronomy from the University of California, Irvine. His thesis involved the search for dark matter and the origin of neutrino mass at the Large Hadron Collider, the world’s largest and most powerful particle accelerator and part of the ATLAS experiment in Geneva, Switzerland, where he studied. Relich accepted a fellowship as a postdoctoral research scientist at Chiba University, Japan, where he will be working on the IceCube experiment. The work will take him to Amundsen-Scott South Pole Station, which uses a giant neutrino telescope embedded deep in the Antarctic ice that searches for extremely energetic subatomic particles emanating from space. Relich is a 2005 graduate of Trinity High School, and his parents are John Relich and Susan and Steven Wolf, all of Washington.
Kayla Succop graduated from California University of Pennsylvania, where she majored in gerontology. She was a member of the Gerontology Club and was named to the dean’s list with a 4.0 grade-point average for four consecutive years. Succop is a 2007 graduate of McGuffey High School and has accepted a position at Senior Life as a case manager. Her parents are Rick and Karen Succop of Washington.
Kaytlin Sullivan, daughter of Michael and Carrie Sullivan of Eighty Four, was named to the dean’s list at Washington & Jefferson College, where she is majoring in political science. She is a 2011 graduate of Ringgold High School.
Myresa Troiano was named to the dean’s list at Penn State University, where she is majoring in communication science disorders. She is a member of the National Student Speech and Language Association, National Society of Leadership and Success and the THON committee. She is a 2011 graduate of Trinity High School, and her parents are Ralph and Dyane Troiano of Washington.
