Koenig – Pabian
Courtney Noelle Pabian and John Martin Koenig were united in marriage July 6, 2013, in St. Patrick Catholic Church, Canonsburg, with the Rev. John Batykefer officiating the 3 p.m. ceremony.
The bride’s parents are Frank and Beverly Pabian of Canonsburg. Her grandparents are Frank Egizio of Southview, the late Elizabeth Egizio and the late Frank and Rosella Pabian.
Parents of the bridegroom are Marie McGrath of Cleveland, Ohio, the late Edward McGrath and the late John E. Koenig. His grandparents are Marie Schick of Sun City Center, Fla., the late Ed Schick and the late John F. and Helen Koenig.
The bride was given in marriage by her father.
Matron of honor for her sister was Carissa Boyer of Canonsburg. Bridesmaids were Ashley Farkas of Canonsburg, Shannon Fetcko of Texas, and Katie Miskulin of Ohio. Flower girl was Chloe Boyer, niece and godchild of the bride.
Best men were John Ihle of New York, cousin of the groom and Peter Gyuratz of New York. Groomsmen were Mike Miskulin of New, York and TJ Thompson of Pittsburgh. Ring bearer was John Constantine of Cleveland.
Readers were Rita Polansky of Canonsburg and Robert Schick of New York, uncle of the groom.
Vocalist was Laura Paterra Barletta and organist was Lucy Hosni.
A reception was held at the SNPJ Sygan with Eddie Rodick Orchestra providing the music. The groom also played and serenaded his bride.
The bride is a 2002 graduate of Canon-McMillan High School and is employed by UPMC Pittsburgh as a credentialing coordinator in the departments of anesthesia and surgery.
The groom is a 2006 graduate of St. Francis Prep, Queens, N.Y. He earned an associate’s degree in emergency medicine from Cuyahoga Community College. He is employed as a paramedic for an EMS agency north of Pittsburgh and is also an accordionist and recording artist.
The newlyweds took a honeymoon trip to Hawaii and make their home in Hampton Township.
