Peters Township Public Library’s GO Green Club will kick off a “Green Wednesdays” film series at 7 p.m. March 5 with a free screening of “Carbon Nation,” a feature-length documentary about climate change solutions.

Environmentally-focused films will be shown at 7 p.m. the first Wednesday of the month through June. The remainder of the schedule includes:

• April 2 – “Trashed – No Place for Waste,” which examines the risks to the food chain and the environment through pollution of air, land and sea.

• May 7 – “Switch,” which examines how shifting from coal and oil to the energies of tomorrow most likely will happen.

• June 4 – “Chasing Ice,” the story of one man’s mission to change history by gathering undeniable evidence of climate change.

Light organic refreshments will be served. Registration is requested by emailing programs@ptlibrary.org or calling 724-941-9430. For more information about the film series, email ptplgogreenclub@gmail.com.
